Focussing on the senses, being blindfolded radically alters the notion of time and space, leading to the source of art: the intelligence of the body. If you are nervous, this is the ideal way to gently dip into the festival.
Life drawing often propounds a notion that the model is an object of art, void of sexuality. At EroticART we want to celebrate sexuality, see the body in its full sexual power and allow this energy exchange to enhance a creative experience as the artists and as the models. The atmosphere will be sexy, with sensual music, erotica readings and some mulled wine to share.
Many people within the kink world believe that you must choose a given role on one side or the other: top or bottom; dominant or submissive. If you don’t, you are considered not to know what you really want. There is, however, another school of thought that argues that one should cultivate the ability to enjoy all sides. From this point of view, growth consists not so much in going ever more deeply into a role that would somehow represent one’s true self, but in one’s openness to all the possibilities one can dream of.
Heavy restraint is the ultimate surrender. Nothing to do, nowhere to go, but venture into one's own consciousness via sensory deprivation contrasting with the inventiveness of layered and dynamic sensory stimulation.
Fun little activities that have made a lasting difference to lots of sex-lives.
The workshop is mostly practical. Exercises are carefully designed to suit you whatever mood you're in, and give you a very grounded experience of pro-actively engaging with your relationship to your body and sexuality.
You can either bring a partner, or be randomly paired for each exercise.
Much more then simply a series of ‘tricks’, in this workshop we’ll be exploring how to connect at a deeper level with the phallus. What is arising in you as the pleasurer? What is your relationship with your partner during fellatio? How do you engage in a way that is deeply pleasurable for you and the receiver?
This workshop works with elements from Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation and Family Constellation. It begins with exercises about self-perception and perception of others, as well as attentiveness, presence and authenticity. In this way a space of sensitivity, trust and empathy is created. Interest and attraction, as well as reservation and aversion will be explored to establish clear communication and the protection of individual limits.
The village is a play structure where festival participants are invited to propose a 'shop' where passersby may come to have a sensory, erotic or challenging experience. 'Shops' can range from the gentle and healing (such laughing salon, erotic massage, dance lessons, nude yoga) to the more demanding (such as Spanking, Shibari Flying, Sensory Derivation, Fear rituals, Electric Stimulation, Humiliation to be King or Queen, Smut Making, etc. ). The options are limited only by your imagination.
